Partner with local and international development stakeholders in an effort to improve in a sustainable and measurable manner to the lifes and antenatal cares of Cameroonians pregnant women by promoting and ameliorate the health status of pregnant women, promoting their access to prenatal care and fighting against social pressures, through sensitization, education, cares and follow-up.

THE ESPRIT YES HEALTH

The purpose of YES HEALTH is to save lives and provide communities with adequate health care, prenatal consultations, medical examinations, pregnancy monitoring and a system for pregnant women living with HIV to give birth. immune from all disease and social pressures without any identity discrimination, religious or political, through actions based on proximity, distant. We act with humanism, impartiality in respect of universal medical ethics. To access pregnant women, we commit ourselves to intervene in a neutral and independent way. The health of the pregnant woman is influenced by the partial inability of the health system to meet the needs of the latter, most of them vulnerable due to stigma, caregiver-care tensions and underutilization of antenatal care services. Our mission is to invest in pregnant health so that it is always at the top of its health. In partnership with Medical Diagnostic Centers, clinics, health structures, we offer the following services:

We have 6 services:

 

  • Cares

Prenatal consultation services, medical examinations, ultrasound and childbirth.

 

  • Mom video

Mini motivational videos, storytelling, advice and sharing experiences pregnancy moms, mothers to any future mom.

 

  • Be Fitness

Improvement service, monitoring of health and well-being of pregnant women through sport (yoga, swimming, walking, aquabiking, aqua gym, gymnastics, stretching, exercise bike).

 

  • Mom Coaching

Mentoring service for pregnant women to allow them to flourish.

 

 

  • Help out Service

Support service, supervision, home monitoring during the prenatal period (nurses nurse, psychosocial support and supervision).

 

  • Her Diet

Pregnant woman diet

 

 

PERMANENT ASSISTANCE

 

EARLY DOC

Volunteer program for doctors, gynecologists, midwives, maieutic, laboratory technician for medical analysis for development, acquisition of a professional maturity; period ranging from 6 months to 1 year.

 

MED – CARE

Program to enable retired health workers to offer their services and skills on a voluntary basis, mobile or not.

 

ALLÔ BABY

Online Service: Counseling, Monitoring of pregnant women, 24 hours a day

 

GLOBAL INTERN

Service provision for external trainees arriving in the country.

 

PREGNANCY BOX

Box to finance anonymous support for disadvantaged pregnant women, detained.

Since its creation in July 2018, YES HEALTH has organized a campaign of awareness and screening for hepatitis B, at the Medical Center of Arrondissement Nkomo – Yaounde, on Monday, August 20, 2018, bringing together a trinitaine people; 5 women were supported after positive screening. In continuation, a blood donation campaign on Saturday, October 27, 2018, at the Central Yaounde Hospital Blood Bank was done and 12 blood bags were collected to support anemic pregnant women in this hospital. A conference on “The importance of prenatal consultations and monitoring of pregnancy” was organized on Saturday, December 15, 2018, bringing together about twenty participants, at the Medical Diagnostics Center behind CAMAIR – Yaoundé. From the 1st to the 10th of February 2019, during the week of the youth we participated in the fair “YOUTH VILLAGE”, where we were able to maintain more than 100 visitors on the need of prenatal visits and on the services that we offer in the YES HELATH FOUNDATION.

 

YES HEALTH TEAM :

More than 50 people are currently working for YES HEALTH. Field teams, as close as possible to pregnant women, receive their support from the coordination teams. Teams based in Douala, North, receive recommendations from the Yaoundé office, as well as fundraising to carry out their activities and actions.

 

OUR COUNTRIES OF INTERVENTIONS:

Cameroon.

However, we think within 2 years to have representations in the subregion CEMAC (Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, Congo, Central African Republic and Chad), and later touching the international.

 

 

OUR TOPICS THEMATIC:

 

Primary, Maternal and Reproductive Health, Malnutrition, Malaria, Hospitalization, Gender Based Violence.

 

FUNDING :

 

YES HEALTH’s programs are largely funded by donors.

YES HEALTH also carries out projects in consortium with international NGOs and other partners (Afriquetoday, MoctiNet) or research institutes. The financing of the projects, and therefore the search for funds, is the responsibility of the mission, with the support of the Yaounde operations and support teams.

We believe according to our slogan, “A pregnant woman, a life”, that every pregnant woman has the right to quality prenatal care and care and deserves to be called “mother”.
